Max Brenner - Belconnen

Came with my kids and mum for Mother’s Day. Haven’t been here for 5 + years. The customer service was so bad. I asked the lady with no name tag and long pony tail, if we could have the table cleaned so we can sit down and she seemed annoyed at the request. I asked twice. The same lady taking my order was still rude and was asking my order but talking else where at the same time. She was very dismissive and for paying almost $80 for food I would expect better engagement. The same lady made The “hot chocolate” which were cold. The platter for two was ok but not worth the price. The cake was ok but not worth the $$ I was so annoyed at the service, it was my time with my mum and I was so disappointed. 2/5 stars because the chocolate it self was very nice Following engagement with manager:15/5 Feedback given and will try again. Went today 25/5 We had hot chocolates and tried the waffles. The service was 100% change. Then man that I ordered from was attentive and nice. No negative energy. We went after school and my kids were very happy with afternoon tea. I really enjoyed it today better.

I ordered their waffle toastie with cheese and vegemite today. To be honest I've never tasted this bad of a toastie anywhere. The staff literally smeared almost 2 tablespoon of vegemite and a piece of cheese without toasting it properly. It was like having a soggy sponge that tasted salty and bitter. Not good customer service as the staff took nearly half an hour to make it ! I had to throw away the toastie as it was horrible. Such a waste . Belconnen Max Brenner is going down in quality. Not happy about it.
